Balluff BOS013R Photoelectric Sensor

Balluff BOS013R is an M18 through-beam photoelectric emitter from the BOS 18M family, model BOS 18M-XT-LS10-S4. It uses a red laser light for detection and operates on 10–30 V DC. The brass, nickel-plated housing measures Ø18 x 71.5 mm, built for rugged industrial environments. The emitter delivers long-range beam interruption sensing with a range up to 60 m in through-beam configurations and uses an M12 x 1 four-pin connector for wiring. With a PMMA sensing surface, the device is built to withstand typical factory conditions and integrates with the standard Balluff sensing ecosystem to produce clean, switch-ready signals to PLCs and automation controllers. The BOS013R is part of Balluff's through-beam sensor lineup and pairs with a receiver to detect object presence across a defined gap, enabling non-contact detection over long distances in various industrial settings. Electrical connection is via standard 4-pin M12, and the compact form factor supports easy panel mounting.
