Balluff BOS18M-PS-1XB-E5-C-S4 Photoelectric Sensor

The Balluff BOS18M-PS-1XB-E5-C-S4 is a diffuse-mode photoelectric sensor in an M18 housing with a 4-pin M12 connector, designed to detect diffuse reflections at a nominal distance of 200 mm. It operates on 10–30 V DC and provides a PNP normally-open (light-on) output rated to 200 mA, with no-load current under 20 mA and a load voltage drop under 2.5 V. The emitter is infrared at 880 nm, and the unit features a yellow status LED. Built for harsh environments, it carries IP67 protection and an operating temperature range of −5 to +55 °C, with a response time around 5 ms and a switching frequency up to 100 Hz. The sensing head uses a nickel-plated brass housing with a PMMA sensing face and measures M18 × 68.5 mm, connected via an M12 4-pin connector.
