Balluff BTL08TR-BTL5-E50-M0090-J-DEXC-TA12 Linear Position Sensor

Balluff BTL08TR-BTL5-E50-M0090-J-DEXC-TA12 is a Micropulse magnetostrictive linear position sensor designed for explosion-hazard areas. This rod-style Ex sensor features a pressure-encapsulated 1.4404 stainless steel housing with a flange Ø18 h6 with mounting holes, and a 7‑pin clamping-terminal connection. It provides a 90 mm measuring range with an absolute position output and uses a 4–20 mA analog signal powered by 10–30 VDC. The device is rated IP68 and operates from −40 to +80 °C, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments. It carries extensive explosion-protection approvals, including ATEX EPL Ga/Da and IECEx EPL Ga/Da, as well as NEC 500 Class I, Division 1 and NEC 505 Zone 1, with CE, UKCA, CSA, WEEE, and CCC Ex conformity.
