Description:
Balluff BTL5-A11-M1000-P-S32 Micropulse transducer is a long-stroke, analog displacement sensor with a 1000 mm measurement length designed for precise position feedback in industrial automation. It provides a bipolar voltage output (0…10 V or 10…0 V) driven from a 24 V DC supply (±20%) with a maximum load of about 5 mA, and it’s built in an anodized aluminum housing with compression-clamp mounting for robust installation. Key performance specs include system resolution better than 0.1 mV, hysteresis under 4 µm, and repeatability under 6 µm, with a maximum nonlinearity of ±100 µm up to 500 mm and 0.02% of full scale for longer lengths, enabling accurate tracking across the entire stroke. The device updates position at up to 1 kHz, supporting fast control loops, and offers polarity-reversal protection along with Transzorb overvoltage protection, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments.
