Balluff BTL5-E10-M0508-WB-F30-C is a Micropulse linear position transducer in profile housing that provides absolute position feedback for automated systems. Leveraging Balluff's magnetostrictive Micropulse technology, a magnet on the moving part interacts with an internally generated INIT pulse to create a magnetostrictive wave in a waveguide, delivering high-resolution, repeatable, and highly linear position data. It supports 24 V operation and offers an analog output option, including 4–20 mA or 0–10 V signals, making it compatible with PLCs or Balluff processors (BTA) as part of a complete position-measuring system, and it carries IP67 protection for demanding environments. Magnets and certain stroke configurations are ordered separately, with Balluff providing a wide range of standard stroke lengths and magnet options to fit different installations.
