Balluff M05ED-PSC50F-EP00 Inductive Proximity Sensor

Balluff BES M05ED-PSC50F-EP00 is a 5 mm inductive proximity sensor (BES013C) with a nominal sensing distance of 5 mm and an assured operating distance (Sa) of 4.05 mm, designed for compact, non-contact metal detection in tight spaces. It features a PNP normally open output and comes pre-wired with a 30 cm lead ending in a 4-pin M12 A-coded connector for easy integration into standard controls. The cylindrical body measures Ø 5 x 35 mm and uses an M5 mounting thread for small-form installations. It operates from a DC supply of 10–30 V and can source up to 100 mA from its output. This EP00 variant includes the 30 cm lead and M12 connection and is not intended for flush mounting. Typical applications include presence/position sensing in packaging lines, automation equipment, and compact robotics where a small, reliable inductive sensor is required; expect a sensing range tolerance with ripple up to 10% of Ue and temperature drift up to 10% under real-world conditions.
