Balluff BES0453, marketed as BES M18MI-PSC80A-S04G-W12, is an inductive proximity sensor in a compact M18 housing (Ø18 x 55 mm) designed for flush mounting with an 8 mm detection range. It provides a PNP normally open (NO) switching output and operates on 10–30 V DC, wired via a 3-pin M12x1 connector. The brass housing is PTFE-coated and the sensing face uses PPS material, with an IP67 rating and an operating temperature range of -25 to 70 °C. As part of Balluff’s Inductive Factor 1 family, this sensor delivers reliable, non-contact sensing of metal targets in confined spaces where flush installation is required.
