Balluff Q40KFU-PSC20A-S04G-012 Inductive Sensor

The Balluff BES0305 Q40KFU-PSC20A-S04G-012 is a square inductive proximity sensor (40 x 40 x 66 mm) with flush-mount capability, designed for magnetically resilient industrial applications. It delivers a 20 mm nominal sensing distance (Sn) with an assured operating distance (Sa) of 16.2 mm, and a real switching distance near 20 mm for reliable ferrous-target detection, even in challenging environments. The device uses a PNP normally open (NO) output, operates from 10 to 36 V DC, and uses an M12x1 4-pin connector, making it compatible with standard automation wiring. Its PA housing and PA/Teflon sensing surface, combined with an IP67 rating and an operating temperature range of -25 to 70 °C, support rugged performance in dirty or damp surroundings; the sensing face can be rotated to five positions for flexible mounting, and the sensor is intended for flush installation.
