Band-It K50289 Ball-Lok Tool

The Band-It K50289 Ball-Lok Tool is a lightweight, portable hand tool designed to install Band-It’s Ball-Lok and Ball-Lokt stainless steel ties up to 7.9 mm (0.310 in) wide. It offers adjustable tension, side loading, and an automatic tail-cutoff to deliver a consistent, secure clamp with each squeeze. The tool accepts both 0.180 in (4.6 mm) and 0.310 in (7.9 mm) wide ties, in coated or uncoated varieties, with a tension-setting range of 1 to 4 1/2 for the 4.6 mm ties and 1 to 6 1/2 for the 7.9 mm ties, as read in the tension indicator window. For rapid reloading between cycles, the handle must be extended to reset, and when the preset tension is reached the lever will not release completely, allowing a final tail cut.
