Banner 2PBA Multi-Power Block

The Banner Engineering 2PBA Multi-Beam 2-Wire AC Power Block is a compact power module designed to supply the Banner MULTI-BEAM sensor family with DC power from a 105–130 VAC input, while handling the proper load for the scanner and logic module. Inside, it uses a low-leakage circuit that derives DC power by drawing a small leakage current through the load, enabling the 2-WIRE MULTI-BEAM system to operate without a separate DC supply. The block is rated for up to 0.75 A total load, with a maximum resistive load of 15 kΩ and a minimum inductive load of 1.2 W (approximately 10 mA), ensuring reliable performance across typical sensor configurations. It is part of Banner’s MULTI-BEAM 2-WIRE power block family, with models such as 2PBB and 2PBD available, and supports parallel wiring of multiple 2-wire units to achieve OR or NAND logic functions as described in the product hookup guidelines.
