The Banner Engineering D12SN6FV Fiber Optic Sensor is a 10–30 V DC powered glass-fiber sensor in the D12 family that provides a complementary output (one normally open and one normally closed) for reliable, non-contact sensing in tight spaces and through challenging materials. Sensing range is fiber-dependent, with supported fiber options including PI/PB plastic fibers and I/B glass fibers; the visible red beam operates at 680 nm to match standard fiber configurations and enable precise alignment. Electricals include a 10–30 V DC supply, up to 45 mA current draw, and protection against reverse polarity and transient voltage, with a standard 2 m (6.5 ft) attached cable that keeps wiring simple in compact panels.
