The Banner Engineering B-TL70-Q5 TL70 Base Module is the foundational base for Banner’s 70 mm TL70 modular tower-light system, designed to host up to four color modules in a single stacked configuration. It accepts a 12–30 V DC supply and uses a 5-pin M12 integral quick-disconnect connector inside a black polycarbonate housing, with overall base dimensions of 70.0 mm (L) by 47.5 mm (W). The base includes M30 x 1.5 mounting threads and supports 1–4 modules, making it versatile for compact multi-segment signaling. It carries an IP65 environmental rating for ingress protection and employs a bimodal (PNP/NPN) input across five conductors, with a maximum color drive of 420 mA and a maximum input response time of 180 ms. Indication features are present on the base module, while illumination is not provided by the base itself (Illumination: No; Indication: Yes). Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 50°C, with storage from -40°C to 70°C and humidity up to 95% non-condensing at 50°C. This base module is intended to be paired with TL70 color modules to create configurable, color-coded signaling towers for industrial automation, equipment status indication, and process monitoring, all powered from a 12–30 V DC supply and protected to IP65 against dust and water ingress.
