Description:
Banner Engineering BIC-99MF.050 Preset Counter is a PLUG LOGIC module in the Banner BIC family that counts input sensing events and triggers an output once a user-set preset is reached. The preset value is selected with thumbwheel switches and, when satisfied, the module resets to accept the next batch of counts; the output is an adjustable one-shot pulse, and pulses arriving during the output window are queued for the next count total. The BIC-99 variant is programmable from 2 to 99 counts (Banner also offers the BIC10K for up to 9,999 counts). Preset counters are used in applications such as filling, stacking, positioning, and cut-to-length control.
