Banner Engineering BME348A Beam Array Emitter
Banner Engineering BME348A Beam Array Emitter
Description:
The Banner Engineering BME348A Beam Array Emitter is a 36-inch (914 mm) emitter for Banner's BEAM-ARRAY measuring light curtain system, designed to pair with the BMR348A receiver to create a 144-beam sensing field along a 914 mm span. It operates on 15–20 V DC and uses a 9-core Quick Disconnect (QD) interface; a 5 m (15 ft) cable is provided with the light curtain assembly. The emitter's 144-beam array spans 36.0 inches with a minimum detectable object size of 11.4 mm (0.45 in), enabling detection of relatively small objects across the full length. In BEAM-ARRAY configurations, a maximum sensing range of up to 3 m is achievable when used with Banner high-grade retroreflective tape. The BME348A is part of Banner's BEAM-ARRAY line of measuring light curtains and is intended to be used in conjunction with the BMR348A receiver to form a complete sensing solution for lengthier, high-resolution detection along conveyors, machinery access points, or safety interlocks where a long, discrete beam pattern is required.
