BTETA1.515S is Banner Engineering’s heavy‑duty fiber optic sensor assembly in the BTETA1.xS family, featuring a glass fiber optic core housed in a stainless steel monocoil jacket and delivered terminated. The fiber length is 0.305 m, with a sensing end that measures 5.3 mm at the tip and a 2.3 mm core diameter, designed for rugged installations with a minimum bend radius of 25 mm. The distal end offers threaded, probe, and sideview configurations, and the sensing end material is stainless steel with a right‑angle beam exit. This fiber optic cable supports diffuse (general) sensing and reflective (detailed) sensing modes, enabling light transmission through the fiber to interact with targets. Operating temperature reaches up to 249 C, and there is no integrated lens on the assembly.
