The Banner Engineering SMW915D-W30 is a VALU-BEAM diffuse photoelectric sensor (model SMW915D-W/30) that detects presence at up to 760 mm (29.9 in). It operates on 12–28 V AC or DC and provides an SPDT electromechanical relay output, packaged with a 9 m (30 ft) PVC cable for straightforward wiring. As a diffuse-mode sensor in the VALU-BEAM 915 Series, it uses reflected light from the target, making it well suited for mid-range object detection on conveyors, packaging lines, and automated equipment.
