Banner Engineering Corporation MA4L Logic Module
Description:
The MA4L MICRO-AMP Logic Module from Banner Engineering is a plug‑in logic element in the MICRO‑AMP system that accepts outputs from other MICRO‑AMP amplifiers or DC sensors with NPN (current sinking) outputs and can operate as a latch or edge‑triggered flip‑flop, including a divide‑by‑two mode, controlled via the INPUT, SET, RESET, and INHIBIT inputs for flexible logic sequencing in inspection or rejection applications. It runs from 10 to 30 V DC and draws less than 20 mA (exclusive of load); the encapsulated VALOX housing with gold‑flashed pins protects the circuitry while two open‑collector NPN outputs provide complementary outputs (one normally open, one normally closed) with up to 150 mA sinking current per output for versatile interfacing. Inputs are buffered for about 1 ms response, logic levels define a low as under 2 V and a high as 6 V or an open circuit, and the device is rated for 0 to 70 C operation, with the No Base variant designed to drop straight into Banner's MICRO‑AMP logic chain without a separate base.
