OTBVN6 is Banner Engineering’s OTB Series optical touch button that serves as a touch-activated input for industrial control panels. It installs in a 30 mm panel hole with a choice of black or yellow covers, and it supports a 6 ft attached cable (Model 1) or a 4-pin quick-disconnect variant (OTBVN6QD) for flexible mounting. The device operates from 10 to 30 V DC and provides complementary NPN (sinking) open-collector outputs, with 1 normally open and 1 normally closed contact, enabling either NO or NC control configurations. The sensing method is optical, allowing actuation without a mechanical push, and Banner notes protective supply circuitry including reverse-polarity and transient-voltage protection. This OTBVN6 family is designed for rugged industrial use, combining a compact 30 mm footprint with reliable electrical outputs for panel interfaces, conveyors, or machine controls where a compact, low-power touch button is advantageous.
