Banner Engineering’s PBP9725A Power Block is a MULTI-BEAM 3- and 4-Wire DC Power Block that supplies a regulated low-voltage DC supply to power the scanner block module and logic module of Banner’s MULTI-BEAM photoelectric sensors. It includes a solid-state, infinite-life switch to interface the sensor to external circuitry and provides a single open-collector PNP transistor output. The unit accepts 10–30 V DC input, uses heavy-duty screw terminals that accept up to 14 AWG wire (no lugs required), is epoxy-encapsulated, and is rated for -40 °C to +70 °C. Color-coded gray when configured as a DC power block, it offers an on-state voltage drop under 1 V DC and an off-state leakage current under 10 µA, delivering reliable switching for industrial sensor applications. This power block is designed for modular compatibility within the MULTI-BEAM system, enabling precise, compact power and signal interfacing for 3- and 4-wire configurations in automation environments.
