Banner Engineering's World-BEAM QS30LDLQ is a high-performance long-range diffuse-mode laser sensor housed in a compact 30 mm body. It operates on 10–30 VDC and provides bipolar outputs (PNP/NPN) via a 5-wire interface, with a selectable 30 ms OFF-delay to minimize chatter. The QS30LDLQ uses a visible laser for diffuse sensing and supports Class 1 or long-range Class 2 operation, delivering up to 0.8 m (32 in) of sensing range with a 1 mm spot size at the far edge. It features an eight-segment status bargraph and Expert TEACH options (Static, Dynamic, Single-Point) plus manual fine-tuning for precise sensing. The LDLQ variant includes integral Euro-style quick-disconnect, and model options include 2 m (6.5 ft) or 9 m (30 ft) cables, with longer cables available via the W/30 suffix on compatible QS30 models. Mounting versatility includes the popular 30 mm threaded nose or side-mount configurations, making the QS30LDLQ suitable for conveyors, packaging lines, and other automation tasks where a compact, reliable laser diffuse sensor is needed.
