Banner Engineering's SBD1 Photoelectric Sensor is a Multi-Beam diffuse-mode scanner block designed for ultra-short-range detection. It delivers a 0.3 m (12 in) sensing range using infrared light at 940 nm and offers a rapid 1 ms response for fast part-detection in tight spaces. The SBD1 is implemented as a 3- or 4-wire scanner block within Banner's Multi-Beam family and provides a relatively wide field of view for diffuse sensing. This model is not intended for safety-related or personnel-protection applications.
