The SMU315LPQDP is Banner Engineering's compact Mini-Beam Series polarized retroreflective sensor, delivering universal AC/DC power (24–240 V) and a 3,000 mm visible-red sensing beam (650 nm). It operates in polarized retroreflective mode for reliable detection of targets with reflective surfaces and is housed in a thermoplastic rectangular body with an 18 mm barrel and M18 mount; a 0.15 m pigtail connects via a 5‑pin header to an SPDT electro‑mechanical relay output with a 20 ms response time, supporting Light/Dark operation and adjusted through a front potentiometer with LED status indicators.
