Banner Engineering D10BFPQ Fiber Optic Sensor

The Banner Engineering D10BFPQ is a red-beam, high-performance fiber optic sensor from the D10 Expert family, designed for use with Banner plastic fiber optics. This 6-pin M8 quick-disconnect (QD) model provides bipolar discrete outputs for straightforward NPN/PNP wiring and is powered from 10–30 V DC. The unit is IP50 rated with a NEMA 4X compatibility, making it suitable for light-industrial environments; its enclosure is sturdy enough for mounting on panels or rails. It accepts plastic-fiber terminations such as unterminated fibers or T5 termination, enabling flexible fiber-coupled configurations. The sensing range is fiber-dependent, so the exact range will vary with the fiber type and installation; typically, system designers select fiber length and termination to meet the application needs.
