The D12EP6FP is Banner Engineering's plastic-fiber optic photoelectric sensor from the D12 Expert Series, designed for DIN-rail mounting with a plastic fiber option and a range that varies with the fiber used. It provides a SPST PNP output and operates on 10–30 V DC, with a 2 m (6.5 ft) cable, and accepts unterminated plastic fibers or T5 terminations. The housing is thermoplastic with an IP11 rating, and the unit tolerates -20 to 70 C and up to 90% relative humidity at 50 C; it also features remote Teach operation and a Teach button plus a bargraph indicator for status.
