Banner Engineering DL1-A-LM3 Photoelectric Sensor

DL1-A-LM3 is Banner Engineering’s MULTI-BEAM modular photoelectric sensor kit that combines a 120 VAC power block (DL1-A) with the LM3 ON/OFF logic module to drive a compatible scanner block in Banner’s three‑piece MULTI-BEAM system. The DL1-A power block accepts 105–130 VAC, 50/60 Hz input and provides a SPST solid‑state output rated up to 0.75 A (derated to 0.5 A at 70 °C) to energize the connected scanner block. The LM3 logic module adds selectable light or dark operate and delivers adjustable timing (commonly 0.15 to 15 seconds) to tailor response to high-speed production lines. Note that the complete sensing solution requires a separate scanner block, with the three components—the scanner block, the power block, and the logic module—purchased separately; DL1-A-LM3 combines the DL1-A power block and LM3 logic module with a compatible scanner block to form a MULTI-BEAM sensor. Typical applications include presence detection on conveyors, part sensing for automated sorting or packaging lines, and object detection in material-handling processes. This configuration is intended for industrial automation sensing, not for personnel protection, and is not a stand-alone safety device.
