The Banner Engineering DMSK48V48VF-1 Multi-Screen System Kit (Banner part #133382) is a two-pair, dual-area light-screen guarding solution built on Banner's MULTI-SCREEN platform to guard two points of operation on a single machine. A full system includes two emitter/receiver pairs, a controller, and interconnecting cables. The controller can be powered from 115/230 V ac or 24 V dc and provides two normally open safety outputs; a Trip output that resets automatically when the defined area is clear; and two normally closed auxiliary outputs. The control module is housed in a welded steel enclosure with a polyester paint finish. Emitters/receivers support ranges up to 18 m and resolutions as small as 19 mm. Systems include floating blanking (one- or two-beam) and selectable auto power-up. The controller is compatible with MACHINE-GUARD emitters/receivers as well as standard or heavy-duty MINI-SCREEN emitters/receivers. This two-pair design supports point-of-operation guarding for two areas on the same machine, making it suitable for applications where two distinct hazard zones need simultaneous protection on manufacturing equipment.
