The DPB1 Portable Programming Box by Banner Engineering is a handheld tool that provides remote TEACH capability to configure Banner sensors when their programming push buttons are inaccessible. It runs on 15-24 VDC and ships with two included 9-volt batteries, with an optional 115 V AC adaptor for wall power. Four wiring terminals allow connection to cabled DC sensors, and a bi-color output indicator shows NPN/PNP status. When powered by batteries, the DPB1 automatically powers off after five idle minutes. Programming pulses are generated by pressing the DPB1 TEACH push button (0.04–0.8 seconds), and the sensor’s output state is reflected by the box’s indicator LED.
