Banner Engineering DX80DR9M-H5 Wireless Data Radio

DX80DR9M-H5 is Banner Engineering’s MultiHop 900 MHz IP67 data radio designed to extend Modbus IO networks through wireless hops. It provides four NPN discrete inputs, four 0–20 mA analog inputs, and two NMOS discrete outputs, plus an RS-485 serial interface for Modbus RTU communications, enabling reliable, multi‑device communication in harsh environments. The unit supports FlexPower with either 10–30 V DC or a 3.6–5.5 V low‑power option and offers an external antenna connection, all housed in an IP67 enclosure rated for temperatures from -20 to 80°C. In open, line‑of‑sight conditions, 900 MHz MultiHop radios can reach up to about 9.6 km (6 miles), and the system supports topologies like point‑to‑point, point‑to‑multipoint, star, and tree, making it suitable for scalable industrial monitoring and control deployments.
