Banner Engineering DX80N2Q45RD Wireless Photoelectric Sensor
Description:
DX80N2Q45RD is Banner Engineering’s Sure Cross Wireless Q45 remote device node that adds a rugged, cable-free input point for two discrete inputs—dry contacts or Namur signals—into a wireless Q45 network. Operating in the 2.4 GHz ISM band with about 65 mW RF output, it communicates with Banner gateways to provide status and input information across the mesh while an IP67 housing protects it from dust, water, and washdown on harsh factory floors. The RD model features an integrated front-facing 5-pin M12 connector for direct wiring, LED indicators (green/ red for radio link, amber for input 1 activity) and a storage mode to conserve power when not in use; power is supplied by a battery configuration (two 3.6 V DC cells) typical of Sure Cross remote devices. As part of the DX80/Q45 family, it supports rapid deployment with pre-mapped gateways for scalable, wireless sensing on conveyors, chutes, tanks, or other hard-to-wire locations, enabling reliable remote photoelectric sensing without trenching or reworking existing plant wiring.
