Banner Engineering EM-F-7G Safety Extension Module

EM-F-7G is Banner Engineering's one-channel Safety Extension Module that adds four NO, 6 A, forced-guided safety outputs to a primary safety device such as an E-stop safety module or a two-hand control module, providing additional control-reliable machine power interrupt circuits without requiring any programmatic adjustments. Powered from 24 V AC/DC, the fixed-terminal EM-F-7G measures 82 x 22.5 x 118 mm (width 22.5 mm) and is designed for DIN-rail mounting with IP20 protection; it accepts one NC safety input and delivers four NO safety outputs, each rated to 6 A, with a typical response time of 35 ms, a 0.1 A power draw, and a max ambient of 50 C with 90% humidity at 50 C. The EM-F-7G is part of Banner's EM Series safety relays and uses forced-guided (positive-guided) contacts so a fault in the primary device can immediately prompt safety re-engagement; it carries UL 509, UL 991, EN 418, and ISO 13850 certifications to meet common industrial machine-safety requirements.
