Banner Engineering EM-F-7G Safety Relay Extension Module

EM-F-7G is Banner Engineering’s one-channel safety extension module in the EM Series that adds four forced-guided (positive-guided) safety outputs to a primary safety device such as an E-stop module or a two-hand control system. Each of the four safety outputs is a NO contact, rated up to 6 A, designed to be wired into control-reliable machine power interruption circuits with no internal delay; the module itself requires no adjustments. Operated from a 24 V AC/DC supply, the EM-F-7G is housed in a narrow 22.5 mm DIN-rail-mountable enclosure with a fixed terminal block for a compact install. It offers IP20 / NEMA 1 protection and is designed to meet safety standards including UL 509, UL 991, EN 418, and ISO 13850. Controlled by the safety output of the primary device, the EM-F-7G provides four safety paths, each a series connection of two forced-guided contacts, enabling redundant, fail-safe stopping or start-interrupt circuits. Ideal for expanding the safety reach of automated machinery, this module is intended for use in safety architectures where additional, independently monitored outputs are needed without adding delay to the primary device’s safety action.
