The Banner Engineering IAT215SS Photoelectric Sensor delivers rugged, fiber‑optic sensing for hard‑to‑reach targets in demanding environments. This heavy‑duty fiber optic configuration uses a glass fiber with a 4.572 m length and a #5/16‑24 threaded sensing end, featuring a 3.2 mm core and a minimum bend radius of 25 mm for flexible routing. The sensing end is stainless steel, and the fiber is protected by a stainless steel monocoil, while the beam exits at a right angle and there is no integrated lens. General sensing mode is opposed, with detailed mode described as reflective, and the unit is rated for operation up to 249 C. Termination is provided for the fiber assembly, ensuring a secure, compact installation suitable for environments where direct sensing is impractical.
