The Banner Engineering IAT23S (17307) is an opposed‑mode, individual fiber optic sensor assembly with a right‑angle, 5/16‑24 UNF threaded sensing tip. The terminated glass fiber is 0.914 m (36 in) long with a 3.2 mm core diameter, housed in a stainless‑steel monocoil sheath and a brass sensing end; it has a minimum bend radius of 25 mm and a non‑retractable sensing tip designed for mounting in tight spaces. The unit is rated to a maximum temperature of 249 C, enabling operation in high‑temperature environments where conventional sensors may not suffice.
