Banner Engineering IM-T-9A F106 Machine Safety Relay

The Banner Engineering IM-T-9A is a compact 24 V DC interface safety relay that connects safety light curtains or EDM-enabled control devices to a machine’s safety circuit. It provides three normally open safety outputs rated at 6 A and a single safety input configured for either one dual channel or two single-channel inputs, with a 2-OSSD input configuration and EDM (External Device Monitoring) support to verify the safety device is functioning correctly. The unit features a removable terminal block and a slim footprint (84 x 22.5 x 118 mm; width 22.5 mm) suitable for panel mounting, an IP20 enclosure, and operating temperatures up to 50 C. Power is drawn from a 24 V DC supply at about 0.1 A, and the device carries safety performance ratings of PL e and SIL 3. Front indicators consist of two green LEDs that show the output status of the internal relays (K1 and K2). Designed for use when a primary safety device governs the machine’s safety outputs, the IM-T-9A is compatible with safety light curtains or scanners that provide EDM inputs.
