Banner Engineering IM-T-9A Machine Safety Relay

The IM-T-9A is Banner Engineering's compact 24 V DC interface safety relay that bridges primary safety devices—such as safety light curtains with EDM monitoring—to an external machine-safety circuit, enabling safe, coordinated interlock behavior across the line. It provides three normally open safety outputs rated up to 6 A and a single configurable safety input that can operate as either a single-channel or dual-channel interface, allowing flexible wiring for different safety configurations. The module features a removable terminal block, a slim 22.5 mm width, and an IP20 / NEMA 1 enclosure for rugged panel mounting, with a 24 V DC supply and no auxiliary non-safety outputs. Response time is 20 ms, and two green LEDs (K1 and K2) indicate the internal relay status, giving immediate visibility of the safety circuit condition. As part of Banner's IM-T Series, the IM-T-9A is designed to increase the switching capacity of low-voltage safety devices while providing EDM compatibility, ensuring safe operation of safety light curtains and related safety controls.
