Banner Engineering IM-T-9A Safety Relay

IM-T-9A Safety Relay from Banner Engineering is an interface module that expands the safety wiring between primary safety devices and your control logic. It operates from a 24 V DC supply and provides three independent normally open safety outputs (3 Form A) to carry OSSD signals from devices such as safety light curtains or interlocks to a safety controller. The IM-T series supports a switching capacity of up to 6 A, enabling reliable multi-channel safety interfaces, and it includes EDM (External Device Monitoring) support for safety devices that require monitored signaling. Two LEDs labeled K1 and K2 indicate the status of the internal relays, and the unit is designed for easy field wiring with removable terminal blocks and DIN-rail mounting. It is rated IP20/NEMA 1 for basic industrial environments and responds to safety events in about 20 milliseconds, helping minimize downtime. As part of Banner’s IM-T family, the IM-T-9A is a compact, non-programmable interface ideal for connecting safety light curtains, safety interlocks, and other primary safety devices to a controller, delivering three Form A outputs in a single, reliable module.
