Banner Engineering ITA23P Glass Fiber Optic Cable

ITA23P is Banner Engineering's opposed-mode, individual glass fiber optic cable, 36 inches (914 mm) long, with a 0.125 inch (3.2 mm) fiber bundle enclosed in a PVC sheath over stainless steel monocoil. The beam exits at a right angle, and the sensing end features a threaded, angled stainless-steel tip with a 4.8 mm end size, while the fiber length is 0.914 m. This assembly is designed for opposed-mode operation in Banner fiber-optic sensing systems, enabling non-contact detection when the target is opposite the fiber or when direct alignment with the sensing head is constrained. The 36-inch length and monocoil jacket provide a robust, compact light-guide for installation in tight or recessed spaces, supporting applications in automation, presence sensing, and slot/aperture-based detection where a direct line-of-sight sensing head cannot reach.
