Banner Engineering K50APTGYCQ Capacitive Touch Sensor
Banner Engineering K50APTGYCQ Capacitive Touch Sensor
Description:
K50APTGYCQ is Banner Engineering’s EZ-LIGHT K50 series capacitive-touch pick-to-light sensor, a compact, self-contained device that combines a two-color indicator and touch-sensing input to support error-proofing in bin-picking and parts-verification tasks. The unit provides a green job light that remains on while a job input is active, and when touched it activates the output and overrides the job light with the sense light (yellow) to signal a sensed action. It operates from 12 to 30 V DC and accepts a PNP (normally open) input; the housing is polycarbonate and the sensor is rated IP67 and IP69K for washdown and harsh environments. A 4-pin M12 integral quick-disconnect connector facilitates installation, and this model uses green and yellow illumination colors to differentiate the job and sensed states. The K50APTGYCQ is designed to be completely self-contained with no external controller required, making it suitable for compact lines and standalone stations. Typical applications include bin-picking, parts-verification, and assembly-line tasks where clear, immediate visual feedback and easy actuation are critical.
