Banner Engineering's L1PLM3 is a complete MULTI-BEAM photoelectric sensor that combines an L1P scanner block with an AC power block and an LM3 logic module to deliver configurable sensing and timing in a single package. As part of the MULTI-BEAM family, this modular system uses three components—a scanner block housing the emitter and receiver, a power block that interfaces to the control circuit, and a logic module that adds timing and output control—allowing interchangeable AC or DC power blocks and 2-, 3-, or 4-wire sensor blocks to tailor wiring and interface. The MULTI-BEAM line covers opposed, retroreflective, diffuse, convergent, and glass fiber optic sensing modes, with ranges reaching up to 200 m, making it suitable for a wide variety of automation tasks. The LM3 logic module provides programmable timing and supports ON/OFF output with light- or dark-operate options, offering adjustable timing from 0.15 to 15 seconds to fit precise signal conditioning needs. This configuration is designed for AC-powered installations and exemplifies the three-component modular approach that lets you swap scanner blocks, power blocks, or logic modules to customize performance without replacing the entire sensor.
