Banner Engineering LM-3 Module

LM3 is Banner Engineering's MULTI-BEAM logic module that provides an ON-OFF output for MULTI-BEAM photoelectric sensors. It sits between the power block and the scanner/amplifier components of a MULTI-BEAM system, drawing input power from the power block and offering interconnecting pins to simplify wiring. The module can be configured for either LIGHT or DARK operate, delivering an ON-OFF output that gates the sensor signal as needed. Range is determined by the connected sensor, so performance scales with the specific MULTI-BEAM device in use. LM3 is commonly selected when no timing function is required, making it the default logic module when the desired operate mode (LIGHT or DARK) is not known at the time of ordering. It is designed for use with Banner MULTI-BEAM system components, including power blocks and scanner blocks, and is documented as part of the MULTI-BEAM series.
