The LT3NU is Banner Engineering’s LT3 Series diffuse time-of-flight laser distance sensor, delivering non-contact measurements from 0.3 to 5.0 meters with a visible red sensing beam. Operating on 12–24 V DC, it provides an analog 0–10 V output and one NPN discrete output, with 2 m (6.5 ft) flying-lead cable and an 8-pin connection. This rugged IP67 device uses a class 2 laser and supports remote teach and push-button adjustments, with a 1 ms minimum response time and up to 5000 lux ambient light tolerance, making it suitable for detecting non-metallic targets such as plastics, wood, or painted surfaces within its 0.3–5.0 m range.
