LT3PU is a L-GAGE LT3 diffuse Time-of-Flight laser distance sensor that measures distance to a diffuse target from 0.3 to 5.0 meters, powered from 12–24 V DC, and providing both a 0–10 V analog output and a single PNP discrete output. It ships with a 2 m cable and a rugged ABS housing rated IP67, NEMA 4X, designed for demanding industrial environments. The visible red laser beam supports straightforward alignment, while TEACH-mode programming (pushbutton) and remote TEACH simplify setup; output response can be set across three speeds for faster or slower sensing as needed. The device includes 8-pin wiring, 1 PNP discrete output, and a max sensing distance of 5,000 mm with a minimum sensing distance of 300 mm; it tolerates up to 5,000 lux of ambient light. Typical applications include presence/absence and distance measurement on conveyors, bin or hopper level sensing, and general object detection in automation, with the LT3 family often cited for fill-level monitoring in hoppers and bulk-material applications.
