Banner Engineering LX3RSR Light Curtain Receiver

The LX3RSR is Banner Engineering’s LX Series short-range light curtain receiver designed for detecting small, flat parts in automation. It operates on 10–30 V DC and provides bipolar outputs (one NPN and one PNP) through a 2 m cable, with an LED indicator and dark-operate logic for straightforward status monitoring. The receiver features a 67 mm sensing array, a 75–200 mm sensing range, and a minimum detectable object size of 5.6 mm, all inside an aluminum housing rated IP65/NEMA 4X and built for rugged industrial environments; its lens is acrylic, and it uses five electrical connections. Environmental and mechanical specs include an operating temperature range of -20 to 70 C and up to 90% RH at 50 C, with a 25.4 mm slot depth (31.8 mm overall) and a five-pin wiring configuration.
