Banner Engineering M18TIP6EQ Temperature Sensor

Banner Engineering's M18TIP6EQ is a non-contact infrared temperature sensor in the M18T “T-GAGE” family that delivers a 4-20 mA analog output from a compact 18 mm head. It runs on 12–30 VDC, uses a 6:1 Fresnel lens for a defined field of view, and features an M18 × 1 process connection housed in stainless steel (1.4301/AISI 304) with IP67 protection. The sensor measures temperatures from 0 to 300 °C, operates in ambient temperatures from -20 to +70 °C, and typically responds in under 75 ms, making it suitable for fast, non-contact monitoring on equipment surfaces. Wiring is via a 5-pin M12 quick-disconnect connector, and the package includes two M18x1 hex nuts for mounting; it also offers a PNP alarm output in addition to the 4-20 mA analog signal. Applications include monitoring bearing or motor temperatures, electrical cabinets, furnaces, and other high-temperature industrial processes where robust IP67 sealing and rapid response are required.
