Banner Engineering M18TUP8 Infrared Temperature Sensor

The Banner Engineering M18TUP8 is a non-contact infrared temperature sensor in the M18T Series that measures surface temperature from 0 to 300°C using a thermopile detector and provides a 0–10 V analog output with a PNP alarm for direct monitoring. It features an 18 mm sensor head with an integrated lens and an 8:1 distance-to-spot ratio, enabling precise targeting at practical working distances, and is powered from 12 to 30 V DC with a 5-wire shielded cable (2 m long). TEACH-mode programming and an integrated sensing face support easy calibration and repeatable results. Typical applications include hot glue verification, plastics and polymer processing, and other industrial temperature monitoring tasks where non-contact sensing is advantageous.
