Banner Engineering MAC-1 Mini-Array Controller

The MAC-1 MINI-ARRAY controller is Banner Engineering's controller module for the MINI-ARRAY Measuring Light Curtain system, providing RS-232 and RS-485 serial data output to a host computer or PLC and driving two discrete outputs: a reed relay (Output 1) and a solid-state NPN switch (Output 2), all powered from 16–30 V DC. Its 110 x 100 x 75 mm thermoplastic enclosure houses a 16–30 V DC input, supports -20 to 70 C operation and up to 95% relative humidity, and its serial interface streams MINI-ARRAY status to a host or control system. As part of the MINI-ARRAY System, MAC-1 is configured via Banner's Parameter Setup Software over RS-232 and supports multiple scan-analysis modes (CBM, LBM, TBM); the two outputs are mapped to Output 1 (reed relay) and Output 2 (NPN) for integration with guarding devices and machine-control logic.
