Banner Engineering MAHE6A High Resolution Mini-Array

MAHE6A is Banner Engineering’s high‑resolution emitter for the A‑GAGE MINI‑ARRAY measuring light curtain, designed to pair with the MAHR6A receiver to form a 64‑beam, 6.4" long sensing array with 2.5 mm beam spacing. The emitter/receiver combination provides a dense 64‑beam profile over a 0.4–1.8 m detection range, enabling precise edge detection and profile measurement on automation lines. The emitter itself measures 163 mm (6.4 in) in length and works with a MINI‑ARRAY controller to deliver system outputs; typical controllers include MAHCVP‑1, MAHCVN‑1, MAHCIP‑1, and MAHCIN‑1, which provide two discrete outputs and two analog outputs plus RS‑232/RS‑485 communications. Connections between the array and controller use 5‑conductor quick‑disconnect cables sold separately, such as QDC‑515C (4.6 m), QDC‑525C (7.6 m), and QDC‑550C (15.2 m), with longer variants available for extended installations. This configuration is ideal for compact work envelopes or longer sensing paths where high-resolution edge detection and object profiling are required in manufacturing or packaging environments.
