The Banner Engineering MBS-L1-PBAT Multi-Beam Scanner Block is a modular component of Banner’s MULTI-BEAM sensor family, designed to pair with a PBAT power block to form a complete scanner assembly for industrial automation. In Banner’s modular system, a scanner block works alongside a power block and a logic module to deliver configurable, solid‑state sensing with fast response times. The scanner block is housed in a rugged, corrosion‑resistant PBT enclosure (NEMA 1, 3, 12, and 13 compatible in the family) and, like other MULTI-BEAM blocks, typically includes an Alignment Indicating Device (AID) that lights a top LED and pulses in proportion to the received signal to aid alignment and setup. The MBS-L1-PBAT supports the range of sensing configurations offered by MULTI-BEAM blocks—opposed, retroreflective, diffuse, convergent, and glass fiber optic modes—through compatible power and logic modules, enabling a wide variety of industrial applications.
