MIAD9FQ is a MINI-BEAM NAMUR glass-fiber optic amplifier designed for intrinsically safe environments, packaged in a compact rectangular housing with an M18 mounting option for easy integration in tight spaces. It accepts 5–15 V DC power and delivers a NAMUR-compatible, constant-current output (dark ≤1 mA, light ≥2 mA) through a glass fiber optic with a 2 m termination and an M12 integral quick-disconnect connection. The unit is IP67 and NEMA 4X rated, with a thermoplastic housing, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments and hazardous-area installations when used with approved amplifiers and intrinsically safe barriers. Range varies by sensing mode and fiber used, enabling compact, vibration- and electrical-noise‑immune sensing in applications such as hazardous-area automation, machine monitoring, and confined-space sensing.
