Banner Engineering MIAD9LV Photoelectric Sensor

The Banner MIAD9LV Mini-Beam NAMUR retroreflective photoelectric sensor delivers up to 5 m of detection with a visible 650 nm red beam, all in a compact rectangular housing designed for M18 mounting. It runs on 5–15 V DC and provides a NAMUR output, with retroreflective, non-polarized sensing and adjustable sensitivity via a built-in potentiometer. The unit is IP67 (NEMA 4X) rated and constructed from thermoplastic, making it suitable for dirty or washdown environments; a 2 m (6.5 ft) cable is included for quick installation, and Banner also offers a MIAD9LVAG variant with a longer 30 ft cable. With a maximum sensing distance of 5,000 mm, the MIAD9LV is a true Mini-Beam NAMUR sensor intended for material handling, packaging lines, and assembly machines where reliable retroreflective detection is needed even with varying reflector placement. Operating temperature ranges from -40 to 70 C, enabling use in demanding industrial conditions.
